RSS feed
1. What an RSS feed is
RSS is a way of following new articles without visiting the site. You add the feed address to a feed reader, and the reader tells you when something new appears. You do not create an account with us and you do not leave an email address.
If you clicked the link in the footer and saw a wall of code, nothing is broken. A feed is written for programs rather than people, so the browser shows it in its raw form.
2. Feed addresses
There are two feeds, so that languages do not mix in your reader. Pick the one you want to read in.
- Articles in Polish: https://swiatbioniki.pl/rss.xml
- Articles in English: https://swiatbioniki.pl/en/rss.xml
On a phone, press and hold the address to copy it.
3. How to add a feed to a reader
Every reader looks a little different, so I will only describe the general route. There are plenty of free readers, for example Feedly, Inoreader or Thunderbird on a computer.
- Open the reader and find the option for adding a new source or feed.
- Paste the address you copied.
- Confirm. New articles will show up on their own.
4. What is in the feed
The title, a short description, the link and the publication date of each article. The full text stays on the site, because that is where the illustrations, notes and sources are. Drafts are never in the feed.
5. If something does not work
Write to us through the contact page. Tell us which reader you use and we will find out what is going on.
