About the foundation
Poznań - foundation pending KRS registration
Who we are
The Świat Bioniki Foundation brings together knowledge, community and direct support for people with amputations, their loved ones and specialists. We run the educational portal swiatbioniki.pl and are preparing video programmes on YouTube. All knowledge is free and independent.
Three pillars
Prosthetic education
We translate prosthetics into the language of the patient: how a prosthesis works, how to navigate the NFZ and PFRON system, what to ask before signing a cost estimate.
Life after amputation
Rehabilitation, emotions, returning to work and sport. We bring together people with amputations, their loved ones and specialists in one community.
Direct beneficiary support
Concrete help for a concrete person. This pillar will launch fully after the foundation completes its KRS registration.
Our people
The foundation is being built by founder Artur Wąsowicz together with a group of collaborators and consultants. After KRS registration we will appoint a Supervisory Board.
Where we come from
The foundation grew out of personal experience. In 2020 Artur lost his left leg and spent years gathering knowledge about prosthetics from scattered, often contradictory sources. The portal exists so the next person after amputation has an easier path.

The foundation is pending KRS registration. Once registered, we will publish the statute, registration details (KRS, NIP, REGON) and annual activity reports here.
