1. Compliance status
The Świat Bioniki Foundation runs swiatbioniki.pl to the standard required of public entities by the Polish Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities, whether or not the Foundation is at any given time carrying out public tasks funded from public sources. The portal is largely compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
2. Date of preparation and assessment method
Date of publication of the portal: June 2026. Date of the last significant update: September 2026.
This declaration was prepared in September 2026. The accessibility assessment was carried out by the portal team through self-assessment, using automated testing tools together with manual verification of keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility.

- Dyslexia-friendly font: OpenDyslexic (alternative typeface)
- Extended letter spacing, criterion 1.4.12 WCAG

- Screen reader support (aria-label, aria-live, aria-expanded)
4. Accessibility limitations
Despite our efforts, some elements of the portal – in particular embedded YouTube videos and third-party content – may not fully meet all WCAG 2.2 AA criteria, as their accessibility depends on the external provider rather than the Foundation.
5. Reporting accessibility barriers
If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from using the portal, you have the right to report it via the contact form. Your report should include your contact details, a description of the barrier, and your preferred method of reply. We will respond without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after receiving your report. If we cannot meet this deadline, we will inform you of a new deadline and the reasons for the delay.
6. Complaint
If accessibility is refused or the response deadline is not met, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish Commissioner for Human Rights (Rzecznik Praw Obywatelskich).
7. Architectural accessibility
The Foundation is in the process of registration in the Polish National Court Register and does not receive visitors at an office. All work on the portal is carried out remotely. Information on architectural accessibility will be added once the Foundation begins receiving visitors.
