Knees, feet, liners and accessories described from a daily user's perspective, in language a prosthetist can use too. Not the chart from a brochure, but how the hardware behaves on stairs, on uneven ground and at the end of a long day.

Why the user's perspective

A clinic visit lasts a quarter of an hour. A prosthesis works a dozen hours a day. Between the two there is a space the patient often cannot name and the specialist has no way to see.

We describe what happens in that space. How the hardware responds on a wet pavement, how it behaves under fatigue at the end of the day, where a setting that felt right on level ground needs adjusting after the first outings on rough terrain.

This does not replace clinical knowledge. It adds a layer visible only from the other side of the socket.

I know that many prosthetists in Poland work mainly with conventional solutions and have little access to microprocessor systems, because here they are expensive and hard to obtain. I use two microprocessor knees every day. I can show how they work in real life, not only in a manufacturer's brochure.
