Portal Terms of Use
1. General provisions
The swiatbioniki.pl portal is run by Fundacja Świat Bioniki (currently being registered in the National Court Register), with its registered office in Poznań, Poland. The portal is educational and informational in nature and is made available free of charge.
2. Services provided by electronic means
In accordance with the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means, the foundation provides the following electronic services through the portal:
- making the portal's educational content available,
- the contact form,
- the newsletter (this service will be launched once the foundation's registration in the National Court Register is complete).
3. Technical requirements
To use the portal you need: a device with internet access, a current web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, and an active e-mail address if you wish to use the contact form or the newsletter.
4. Conclusion and termination of the service agreement
The newsletter service agreement is concluded when you sign up, that is when you provide your e-mail address and give your consent, and it may be terminated at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in a newsletter message or by telling us through the contact form. Using the contact form does not require a separate agreement; the service is performed once, at the user's request.
5. Prohibition on supplying unlawful content
It is prohibited to supply unlawful content through the contact form, including content that infringes the personal rights of third parties or copyright, or that promotes hatred or discrimination.
6. Portal content
All content published on the portal is informational in nature and does not constitute medical advice. For health matters, always consult a doctor or a specialist.
7. Copyright
The content of the portal is protected by copyright. Copying it without the administrator's permission is prohibited. Quoting is permitted provided the source is cited.
8. Complaints procedure
Complaints about the operation of the portal or its electronic services may be submitted through the contact form, together with a description of the problem and your contact details. Complaints are examined within 14 days of receipt, and the response is sent to the e-mail address given in the complaint.
9. Governing law
Matters not covered by these terms are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code and the Act on the provision of services by electronic means.
